divorce

in todays society divorce is too easy and yes iam divorced as my x had bipolar that was out of control and she refused help and as a result my sons future and safety was at stake plus the fact she was sleeping with others so I pray in Gods eyes he forgives me for divorcing her as there was no other options open to me.

I wish she had enough faith in god to seek help and counselling but she was not the woman i married

What would have been your response if you had seen Jesus killed and then alive again? What would cause others to respond differently?

My first response, would have been to try to explain the events with my own experiences i.e. a possible fraud. When this response failed I would systematically gone through the last teachings of Jesus, and realised the truth.

The specifications of people who should preach the good news does not fit me or perhaps others who do teach but have been found to be pedophiles.

All I can do, is to try to shape my life based on the word of Jesus.

Joseph from the town of Arimathaea was a wealthy Jewish religious leader. What rish did he take and why was he willing to do this? note Isaiah 53.9 - "And they made His grave with the wicked, But with the rich at His death.

Joseph did risk being declared a christian but since Jesus was now dead, the penalities from this declaration were reduced.

On the other hand, Joseph would have know the signs in the Scriptures to recognise "the Christ" and he did believe them.

If this is so, why do modern Jews not come to the same conclusion?

I have read the published arguments for and against this proposal, so that Joseph making his positive conclusion about Jesus was an act of faith.
