Jesus exaggerates to make the point that one should eliminate things that cause one to sin (disobey God). What things might you eliminate to be more spiritually healthy?

The mind controls one's thoughts and actions. I have been concentrating on what God wants me to do and to control my body

My problem is starting to do these good things, which I need to do.

I waste too much time before carrying out good actions.

Jesus emphazies the phrase "in my name" when referring to the miracle and giving a cup of water. What does it mean to do something in Jesus name?

Jesus is the only way for us to live and obtain help in our lives. We will be given help 'in spite of who we are', for whatever we want but the answer may not be exactly what we ask for.

How does Jesus define greatness, and is caring for a little child an example of greatness?

Greatness is defined by Jesus by what good you can do with your greatness not the respect, you think others should give you.

A little child needs others to provide for him / her therefore we provide as much help we can to a child who probably is not aware of the help given but God knows what you do.
