To love oneself and close family is easy but to love one's enemies is very difficult.

The principle to love one's enemies was difficult for Jews to adopt where the principle of "an eye for an eye" still exists. 

This is the difference that Jesus bought into the world 2000 years ago but the "Christian Message" in general is not accepted for peace and happiness.

The message of Jesus is love and serve everybody even your enemies but we all need his help to do this, through prayer.

I also was cheated on and yes its hard to forgive but remember whilst you try to forgive you will never forget.The best thing to do is pray to forgive and move forward for holding hatred in the heart is self destructive.I do not say take that person back and give them another chance as you will never change a cheater and open yourself to more future hurts but allow nature and God to take care of the cheater.To move forward and not reflect on past is the very best way to if you like to punish a cheater,when your life is good be sure the others is not so good unless they really ask god for his help.A cheat is self destructive dont allow them to take you with them .

hatred does not work but moving forward does in the light of God remember the lord said vengence is mine?

I myself know this to be true as i have experienced the same hurt and always remember we may forgive but never forget that way we dont leave ourselves open to future hurts.

we can not change a person only God can do that so dont try also remember if a person loved you as claimed they would not cheat in the first instance?
