In what ways does the physical healings performed by Jesus in the path parallel the spiritual healings he performs on people today?

When Jesus was physically present here on earth, He healed people from the inside out, i.e He healed them spiritually before the physical healing took place. He may not be here physically today but He is with us in spirit, and the healing is the same as it was during His time here on earth. The healing is spiritual or on the inside and becomes physically evident on the outside once the inside is healed.

What was there about the centurian`s faith that so impressed Jesus?

One must not forget that the centurian was Romen and not of Jewish decent, yet he believed and had faith and was not ashamed or afraid to show faith in The Powers of The Son of Man.Such undoubting and true faith in the Messiah had not been displayed by those that were the chosen children of God, but was shown by a gentile.

Why was Jesus so willing, even eager, to heal the leper?

Jesus eagerly healed the leper, for he (the leper) showed faith and trust in Jesus. He was a believer in the healing powers of Our Lord and Saviour, He felt the compassion and love that radiated from Jesus, and Jesus even asked the leper to bear testimony to the healing.
