How does Jesus link intimacy to him with obedience to him?" a "New" commandment? to be truely intimate with Jesus we must be in constant contact with him through prayer and worship.we must also be aware that he is always with us and treat him as our best friend communicating with him by thought and word. it is also important not to do or say anything we would not want him to hear or see because he is always present and as christians we must try to obey his commands. Jesus knows that as flawed humans we can never be perfect so he measures us by our hearts and the love for him and others that only he can clearly see. Jesus gave us the ultimate unconditional gift and the acceptance of this is the beginning and should be looked at as the foundation of a full relationship with christ which brings with it love and intimacy beyond human comprehension. praise Jesus very name !!
