1025 entries for this category: How valueable are the lowly? Jesus believes the lowly are extremely valueable. It`s crucial that they`re befriended and extended the love and grace of Christ just as we`ve received. Why are they so important? Well, they are the unloved, hardened, hurt, scared, mistreated, hopeless and I think it`s because they really NEED a saviour and know it, and Jesus Christ is it - the only one - the way and the truth and the life! Sure the rich and middle classes need saving too but they are harder to convince - `stuff`, busy lives and a multitude of other gods get in the way.

According to Jesus, what does it mean to be loved by God? It means that I will keep His word and He will live in my heart forever.
I will follow his commandments and keep my heart pure for Him.
He lay down his life so that we might have eternal life.
He forgives our sins through Christ Jesus.
Just as the Father has loved me I also loved you;abide in my love .He loves us like a heavenly father.
We hear His voice and act on his word .We love the Lord your God with all your heart and all your strength and we love our neighbour like we love ourself.

Befriending and promoting the Lowly. I think the last two entries I wrote were not saved .I will try again. Acts of kindness generosity toward those around you, reaching out to those less fortunate and making them welcome into your heart and house.Some are lonely , alienated , isolated , because of sickness, disabilities and lack of finances.it is up to each and everyone of us to ask Jesus for the grace to be able to know just the right help to provide at the time to relieve the suffering of those who come into our lives. To be involved in charity work that reaches out to those who are less fortunate would be another way of befriending and promoting the lowly.
Lord Jesus give us the grace we need to reach out to those in need.
