Why does Jesus call Love One Another a New commandment?
I can say yes. Love One Another is a new commandment because when he came to the earth, at his birth, everything became new. I cansay even that people were loving one another but people didi not know the real love from Jesus and His father. They did without knowing the source and the real fountain of that love. When Jesus came living with human beings, they came to understand more and saw things in new ways. The 1Corinthians10:24, defines well what is love. Those lines state that the love is shown when a person is seeking for the benefit of his/her fellow but not for his/her own benefit. Loving someonelse is being and feeling the abaility to sacrifice even your life for him or her. True love is not light feelings is making oneself in action for saving the life or the hard situation of a fellow, a neighbour, a friend, a vulnerable person without expecting a price or any gift. It is doing a charitable work, rendering a non profit favour especially for people unable to give you back. God will look at what you have done for others, as Jesus loved me until he died for me, that shows how much i` m a very important creature in front of Him so why could`i not show my true love, a noncondition love to others... I like this commandment because it is challenging me so much

It is called a new commandment because the previous ones, if someone hates you , you arenot expected to love Him back.But the Lord doesnot work that way.He has to love us with no return, therefore, as Jesus`s deciples we should go along with this new rule, that we love one another, as he loved us.

Love one another
    Does that mean that Jesus want's us to even love the people who hurt us... Yes it does... See my mom is a witch and I mean a real witch im not just talking about her makeing life hard for me I mean she belives in reincarnation and has withcraft books in her house and also uses a crystal ball that her friend gave her form the county where she lives... I love my mom with all my heart she is my mom and I will always love her ... But Love is not everything... You have to forgive people for things they have done to you... I mean you really need to forgive them or God cannot forgive you... I forgave my mom for all the things she did to me... She still wants to walk back though the past and I cant do that... I forgave her for all she had done but she keeps wanted to cause more problems. My mom brainwashed me so that I woul act different ways when people say words that triger my mind... I forgave her for that and am starting to get better by the day...I husband said I could just forget her and she is dead to me... While this is the way im suppose to go inorder to protect myself form her.... So know I pray when ever something get targested and try to get over that brainwash so that Im ok and not hurting for a while agine over the same things... We have to love one another but we dont have to forget and sometimes we dont even have to be around that person anymore

love one another is what we have to do . God wants us to love him and to love everyone because we are his children and that love, it heals things and brings every one together and i think that this call was that , God is love!

Jesus callled Love one another a new commandment because we dosn`t know what it is or where it comes from.Jesus just want to open our eyes on love or the meaning of Love.Without puting it in that way we should have not know that Love is God and God is Love 1Jn.4v7,
