When Jesus says he who loves me will keep my commandments- John14:23 He clearly say that if we want to be loved by him and the father we must abide by the word. To be loved by God is to be Valued by God, cause God loved the world and he still does according to John 3:16 But he values those that keep his keep and his will.So be loved by god is to be valued by God

We are love by God because we loved Giod.To love and to be love.But God has special ability to love us humans inspite of what we are.God`s love is unconditional, regardless of moral qualities or other human conditions.As humans, we usually love according to another principle.We ove those who are polite and good to us, and would rather have not anythng to do with those who deslikes us.Not so with God.He loves ordinary and good people as well as notorious criminals.The greatest proof of that is He sent us His begotten Son.

According to Jesus, what does it mean to be loved by God?
To be loved by God a believer must fulfil certain requirements. He must keep God`s Word and keep his temple holy. The believer must live by and keep the ten commandments. The believer will hear and obey the voice of God ''Holy Spirit''. To be loved by God requires that the believer keeps these rules. Jesus suffered all of mankinds sins, took on board all curses that those who believe can be accepted by His Father and so be loved by Him. A believer must practice his faith that the Holy Spirit will live in Him so that he will bear fruit. This believers rewards are eternal life. The non practising believer will be thrown out into the fire. God is love but He also has standards that a believer must keep in order to be loved. Fortunately Jesus forgives as we forgive.

It means that God love us unconditionally eventhough he knows that we are sinners in the first place. To save us, he send us his only Son to this world to die for us on the cross so that whoever believes in Him will have eternal life. God also wants us to follow his word

Hi dear friends, This is my favourite word in the bible.Love is something that Human kind didn`t deserve, it`s the extra ordinary care of God upon us, it`s just too extravagant.You see John is also my favourite desciple.He knew what love was and the bibel says that for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that however believes him should not perish but have eternal life ''Jn3:16'' can you Imagine someone dying for you and me, this what the love of God does and actually it reminds the story of the prodigal son in the bible who went and mis used his money and after awhile he thought of coming back and the father runs so fast to get him, what amazes me is that the father didn`t ask where did you put the money I gave you? what do you want?Why have come back yet Igave you your possession?.In reality any father wouldn`t welcome this boy b`se he had no possession in the house any more but b`se God is God he loves us the way we`re even when we sin he loves us the more and this his nature and it`s this that we shall go to heaven.This is what I call the extravang love of God.
