Jesus Says Love One Another
This is a new commandment that Jesus gave to all of us. He died for us and our ancestors and the next generations. He did not do it only for the jews thats why he didnt kill Herod and be the King of the jews. God`s plan was to save the whole world not only the jews. Because Jesus died for all of us we can do the same for him by telling people the truth about Jesus. We wouldnt only share and save our family and friends and people in our country but also anyone no matter who they are, what or how they are'' nice or not'', and where they come from. It doesnt mean you have to go and tell evryone you see on the street, no there are many ways of saving someone from the dark and you have to have faith in GOD and do it with all your heart and soul not because you want to show the others that you are higher than them or because you expect something in return, DO IT FOR JESUS, DO IT WITH LOVE.

Why does Jesus call Love One Another a New commandment?
I think since Jesus was speaking largely to Jewish audiences and the 10 commandments passed down from God to Moses were so important in their faith tradition, Jesus calls his instruction to Love One Another a commandment. He is saying to his Jewish audience - this is important - it is on par with the 10 commandments and it is from God the Father. Honoring the 10 commandments is central to the faith tradition of the Jewish people, Jesus is saying Love One Another is central to Christianity.

Why does Jesus call Love One Another a New commandment?
He calls us to LOVE one another as Christ first lived us the church. IF we HUmans can take our eyes off the entrapments of this world and focus on the needs and feelings of others we will be a society of caring people. This is why we are called Benefits We shar and care for each other in a harmonous relationship. We grow in our love for each other so murder and hurting each other would be very hard to do...... Imagine hurting ie stealing car jacking theft, '' a member of your family? Which is essentially what we are doing but the world ''SATAN''has turned this so far from what GOD intended. When we can stop and see every person as a brother or a sister this is I think GOD intended for us to see.

Why does Jesus call Love One Another a New commandment?
It was new because it was not part of the old testement. I am not sure that many christians practice this. It is an attractive concept, but do people really follow it?

its simple just like jesus loves us with all of his heart we should also do the same this is the new commandment because in the passed since it didnt exist people never thought or cared about loving another you would mostly hear people saying the word hate instead of love so its good for us to all love each other as brothers and sisters and stop hating

I don`t know why He calls it a new commandment.Unless maybe He was bringing something from the old testament into the new testament. So that He really wasn`t introducing a new concept but re-establishing an old one into the new testament???????????
