How did the disciples` fear before the storm differ from their fear after the storm?
Well the disciples thought they were going to die in the rough weather on the sea. Then Jesus woke up and told the wind and sea to be still. Then they were afraid of him because of his great power to calm even the winds and seas. Forgetting that he is the Son of GOD! Who created heaven and earth and all that is in it. Praise God! Amen!

How did the disciples` fear before the storm differ from their fear after the storm?
Before the storm, the disciples were afraid of death, which is a physical threat to their well-being.They feel powerless over the forces of nature. They have no control of their environment or destiny, and in their vulnerability, they forget that Jesus, the son of God the creator of all things, is with them in the boat. When they are awakening Jesus, it is not because they know or recognize him for who he is, but just as their leader who is responsible for what happens to his juniors. After Jesus calms the storm, It dawns on them that they had forgotten the power of the Jesus they had been following, and also discover his might-That even the storm and the wind obey him.In this regard, they now have a glimpse of his divinity, and it hits them with awe and fear that they are in the presence of the Almighty God himself-and this is fear inspiring.

How did the disciples` fear before the storm differ from their fear after the storm?
Before the storm, the deciples were afraid of dying and thought that Jesus did not care about them. This is why they took a step ahead to ask Jesus whether He cared for them in the state of danger ''storm''. When Jesus rebuked the wind and the sea, the deciples afterwards did not have faith, moreover, they became greatly afraid and started wondering that who is this man that even the wind and the sea obey Him? Brothers and Sisters, let us have faith in Jesus who has power over everything. May God bless you!!!!

Paradoxically, however scary a natural storm can be, Jesus powers are all the mores so. Men human minds cannot make sense of that. You need to take the jump so to say with blind trust that God`s arms are there to catch you and support you. At all times. And sometimes we all forget and panic :o Please Lord forgive us...my boat is so small said that Saint...name escapes me.

Jesus Calms the Storm

On that day, when evening had come, he said to them, "Let's go over to the other side." Leaving the multitude, they took him with them, even as he was, in the boat. Other small boats were also with him. A big wind storm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so much that the boat was already filled. He himself was in the stern, asleep on the cushion, and they woke him up, and told him, "Teacher, don't you care that we are dying?"
He awoke, and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, "Peace! Be still!" The wind ceased, and there was a great calm. He said to them, "Why are you so afraid? How is it that you have no faith?"
They were greatly afraid, and said to one another, "Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?"
