Faith Vs Fear
The disciple`s fear before the storm was the fear for their life. Eventhough Jesus had with them in the boat, they were afraid and woke up Jesus, who was sleeping in the boat. This shows that, the disciples had no enough faith in Jesus, who is the creator of sea and wind also. Their fear after the storm, in the bible it says that they were greatly afraid, which arose by seeing Jesus` power and authority over the wind and sea. Their faith in Jesus increased, after this incidence. If we have fear, the faith will not work.

Jesus Calms the Storm
Who is this ? In view of what Jesus had just done, the only answer to this rhetorical wuestion was He is the very Son of God! God`s presence, as welll as his power, was demonstrated as Mark indicates his answer to this question in the openinng line of his Gospel''1:v1'' By such miracles Jesuss sought to establish and increase the disciples` faith in his diety.

on fear
From pure terror to disbelief at the power of Jesus. In the first case cause they knew what the storm could bring death the waves in the second case cause tehy did not know could not understand. In both cases it is a lack of faith the first one stemming from the second one. Trust God fully and nothing can scare you. It`s not a question of chasing the othesr away. The baot is small and historical events bring changes on who`s on the boat. But Jesus must always be present. Are you Catholic do it for the love of God. Are you Muslim for the love of Allah. Islam true Islam means peace. Extremists on the Muslim sides are rocking the boat and causing the storm. All at the damage to those who want to live in peace which are the majority. Jesus taught us to live together and I fear that also some Catholics have not fully learnt the lesson. I trust the Lord have no fear and I knwo that peace will come - provided we stretch a hand and learn to share. On both parts.Sorry not in line of the question but it`sa prayer that stemmed from the heart. I feel on that boat and am calling out for help.

jessus calm the storm
the disciples fear before the storm is dying about the danger of the strong wind and the differ over their fear after the storm is about the strangeness power of jesus christ to control the nature, if the disciples have faith and believe to jesus they were not encounter this fear and to us as a christians even we did not see jesus in person but we believed and he is the son of god , the creator of heaven and earth so god the son also has a power like the power of god the father.

Jesus Calms the Storm

On that day, when evening had come, he said to them, "Let's go over to the other side." Leaving the multitude, they took him with them, even as he was, in the boat. Other small boats were also with him. A big wind storm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so much that the boat was already filled. He himself was in the stern, asleep on the cushion, and they woke him up, and told him, "Teacher, don't you care that we are dying?"
He awoke, and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, "Peace! Be still!" The wind ceased, and there was a great calm. He said to them, "Why are you so afraid? How is it that you have no faith?"
They were greatly afraid, and said to one another, "Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?"
