Why is it OK with God to pay the one who worked all day the same amount paid to the one who worked only an hour?
God said that to say this. He loves all of us and all of us are equal, nobody is better that the other. If you acepted Jesus first or last he still will treat you the same.

God has it`s on plan in each of our lives, some of us may experience difficult situation than others but he knows our limitations. He won`t give us burden we can`t endure and only then God can test our faith in Him. Just believe in Him and never compare yourself to others.

Why is it OK with God to pay the one who worked all day the same amount paid to the one who worked only an hour?
Because for one thing he is the owner of everything that he created including us. So he has the right to pay each one what he wants too! So according to this scripture we are treated equal regardless of how long we have worked. He loves all of us equally and wants all of us to be rewarded for our work. What a wonderful blessing from our heavenly father to give each and every one of us who believes in him Christ Jesus. Amen!

Why is it OK with God to pay the one who worked all day the same amount paid to the one who worked only an hour?
In this parable God shows us that in his eyes we are all equal. Some of us may accept the Lord early others are late, because they have to make decisions, but once we give ourselves completely to him, he is ready to accept us. He said the first should be last and the last first, because he came for the unrighteous who needs his help. God does not look at how many earthly possessions we have he loves and cares for all of us. He has no segregation. All of us is with sin and come short of the Glory of God. Some of us repent immediately some of us take time, yet we are treated the same way, and God accepts into his Kingdom with open arms. In our society today we love to put ourselves first, but in God`s eyes we are all equal, he looks for the poor and lowly, the humble person who might have some reservations of coming forward and he brings them to the forefront and allow people to see what God can do for us all. Remember my brothers and sisters in God`s eyes we are all equal.

Ok for God to pay a denarius across the board.
The first thing is that the denarius belongs to God.Secondly, it is Him who should murmur because He has lost man hours in terms of undone work by the late labourers.Thirdly, He was honoring a mutual agreement that they had entered into with each one of them individually. Fourthly, Jesus was expressing a parable that symbolised the kingdom of God whose remmuneration is eternal life whose value can only be quantified by God Himself. He was more than justified to do what he did.

Why is it OK with God to pay the one who worked all day the same amount paid to the one who worked only an hour?
It was ok with God to reward each hired labourer the way He did. I am only surprised that those who started at 7.00 a.m after reaching an agreed pay of one denarius staged a complaint. They had agreed and I believe that it was a normal day`s wage, and not cheating or penalty. The ones who worked only one hour received blessings, not a days` wage- and God called them all Friends. I think the complainants acted rather humanly. Maybe this human type reaction, as was also demonstrated by the elder brother`s response in the return of the prodigal son in Luke 15. should teach us about God`s nature- He treats us equally as His children, once we have obediently signed the contract with Him.

The Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard

"For the Kingdom of Heaven is like a man who was the master of a household, who went out early in the morning to hire laborers for his vineyard. When he had agreed with the laborers for a denarius a day, he sent them into his vineyard. He went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace. To them he said, 'You also go into the vineyard, and whatever is right I will give you.' So they went their way. Again he went out about the sixth and the ninth hour, and did likewise. About the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle. He said to them, 'Why do you stand here all day idle?'
"They said to him, 'Because no one has hired us.'
"He said to them, 'You also go into the vineyard, and you will receive whatever is right.' When evening had come, the lord of the vineyard said to his manager, 'Call the laborers and pay them their wages, beginning from the last to the first.'
"When those who were hired at about the eleventh hour came, they each received a denarius. When the first came, they supposed that they would receive more; and they likewise each received a denarius. When they received it, they murmured against the master of the household, saying, 'These last have spent one hour, and you have made them equal to us, who have borne the burden of the day and the scorching heat!'
"But he answered one of them, 'Friend, I am doing you no wrong. Didn't you agree with me for a denarius? Take that which is yours, and go your way. It is my desire to give to this last just as much as to you. Isn't it lawful for me to do what I want to with what I own? Or is your eye evil, because I am good?' So the last will be first, and the first last. For many are called, but few are chosen."
