What lesson do you think Jesus taught the disciples by cursing the fig tree?
Jesus wants the disciples to know that if only they believe all things are possible to them that believes. This message is not for the disciple salone, but to everyone that believe on the LORD JESUS CHRIST; also Jesus thought us that there is no problem that is unsolvable, no matter the kinds, no matter how great is that problems if only we believe it will be solved; praise the LORD! I also learned that it is not how long you pray, but how well i.e do you believe what you ask for; your faith matter most.

What lesson do you think Jesus taught the disciples by cursing the fig tree?
Jesus was teaching them 2 main lessons: The first lesson was on Faith. That it was possible to do all things including controlling the things of nature-mountains, fig trees -seemily-impossible things to do.All one needed was faith. The second lesson was that those who failed to produce''fruit'', were cursed and would die just like the fig tree.We are all called to serve the lord, and failure to do this means we would be spiritually dead.

What lesson do you think Jesus taught the disciples by cursing the fig tree?
Hello friends, You see in this parable there`s alot of meaning to someone who reads it.In the first place we as children of God, we are expected to bear fruits that will impress our father in Heaven so when I compare this to our lesson for today I really get to understand that achild of God who does not bear fruits someday will be cut off.B`se what happens is that God expect you atleast to bear some fruits and for sure one day is going to come puporsely for you or me when his hungry and he needs something from either you or me and once he finds us with out fruits then one will have to be cursed. The other way I understand this parable is when the desciples wondered the next after finding the tree drying up and they were perplexed. This was for sure amazing it only took faith and in this context Jesus was telling them to have faith in the words they speak. As achild of God if you have faith you can speak out things and they happen .Becuase greater is he in you than the devil in the world ''1 John 4:4''.And also from this lesson we learn that whatever we pray so this implies that we have to pray but believing in the name of Jesus meaning that prayer with faith. Then this prayer will be answered.

What lesson do you think Jesus taught the disciples by cursing the fig tree?
Jesus`s lesson here is that we should bear fruits as christians. Infact, this means that we should win the lost souls to Jesus and that our faith should be strong enough to remove the mountains ''sins''. If we donot do this our faith will die like a fig tree. The beatiful lesson here is that Jesus will always answer our prayers whenever we ask.GOOD NEWS LET US FOCUS OUR HEARTS TO JESUS. Amen!

What lesson do you think Jesus taught the disciples by cursing the fig tree?
The fig tree is compared to us. It has all the qualities to produce good fruit but is still there useless as ever.....what better thing to do than let it wither because it is useless.Same as us...we claim we have faith but we do not let it manifest itself in our hearts...instead we doubt. what good are we then? Like the fig tree Jesus becomes very disappointed in us because we are not producing any fruits.

The Fig Tree Withers

Now in the morning, as he returned to the city, he was hungry. Seeing a fig tree by the road, he came to it, and found nothing on it but leaves. He said to it, "Let there be no fruit from you forever!"
Immediately the fig tree withered away. When the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, "How did the fig tree immediately wither away?"
Jesus answered them, "Most certainly I tell you, if you have faith, and don't doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you told this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' it would be done. All things, whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive."
