Why do you think the Saducees did not know the Scriptures or the power of God?
The Sadducees didn`t believe in the afterlife and they were faithless. If you believe and have faith that you are going to heaven then you are going to heaven. Faith is the key word.

the saducees will not ask Jesus that question about the resurrection if they know the scriptures.It is our Hope that we will be resurrected and be glorified with Jesus on his Coming...So Hold on to our Faith

Why do you think the Saducees did not know the Scriptures or the power of God?
The Saducees had their own belief that was not making them recognise the powers of God. The limited belief in a way that they did not even understand the words of Moses since Jesus could easily answer them using the same books they read and drew their laws from. They did not have the wisdom to understand the books they read about God.

saducees did not know the scripture or the power of God coz they lives in rules of Moses and not God`s word and their not believe in Jesus that`s why the did no t know the scipture or the power of God

Why do you think the Saducees did not know the Scriptures or the power of God?
The Saducees did not know the Scriptures from the way they interrupted the resurrection and Moses teaching. Jesus told them they were mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures. These people did not understand the scriptures, nor the power of God. They had their own interruption. They saw God as a dead, and not living. But God is really. So Jesus explained it to hem and they were astonished at his teaching.

i think the Saducees did not know the scripture because they did not reason or see the meanings of the scripture in spiritual point of view. they only used their naked eye and based their reasoning on worldly point of view. thank you!

The Sadducees were ignorance of the word of God, they don't understand the scriptures at all, they only believe there is God, but they don't know the power thereof. Even what Moses was doing for them then, they still don't understand, Moses was the only one who intercede and pleaded on their behalf, thank God Jesus explained the reason why Moses gave them that commandment ?because of the wickedness of your heart'. They don't study the word of God, if they do, they should have know what Jesus is all about, Prophet Isaiah talked enough about Jesus, and I believe they all have this records with them which they should learn.

Marriage at the Resurrection

On that day Sadducees (those who say that there is no resurrection) came to him. They asked him, saying, "Teacher, Moses said, 'If a man dies, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed for his brother.' Now there were with us seven brothers. The first married and died, and having no seed left his wife to his brother. In like manner the second also, and the third, to the seventh. After them all, the woman died. In the resurrection therefore, whose wife will she be of the seven? For they all had her."
But Jesus answered them, "You are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures, nor the power of God. For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are like God's angels in heaven. But concerning the resurrection of the dead, haven't you read that which was spoken to you by God, saying, 'I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?' God is not the God of the dead, but of the living."
When the multitudes heard it, they were astonished at his teaching.
