by simply doing the will of God and staying as per His word; giving food to the hungry, drink to the thirsty, welcoming strangers, clothing the naked, visiting the sick and those on bounds. all these in the name of the Lord for His glory. thank you!

You yourself would know it, if here on earth you consired God as the center of your life and accepted Him as your personal savior. You did good to others and obey His command then certainly you`ll be a sheep. But God is a merciful God He will still judge you still depending on His desision.

The judge sounds harsh to those who did not do, and very rewarding unto those who did. Personally, this verse shocks me, coz we have too many strangers, hungry, naked, thirsty, needy around us everyday. So to what extent shall I be considered to have done it? I fear that for me, I shall be a goat, unless ofcourse by God`s grace. I shall however try my best to do what I can do, and ask for pardon for whatever I could not do. I know Jesus loves me, and knows my strengths and weaknesses.

I think nobody would like to be be a sheep. If we are in the path of GOD, do and live according to HIS will and obey HIS commandment for salvation , and be faithful untill the end then we will surely be a SHEEP. So we must ask and look ourself to identify whether we are sheep or goat.

Only if we obey the commandments of the Lord we will be a sheep and if we disobey we will be goats. The good will have eternal life, but the bad will get eternal punishment.

Personally I`m not sure that anyone can say - only God can predict who will be a sheep/goat.

I dont think any one can telll whether at the judgement he/she will be a sheep or a goat. I think the writings tell us that only God knows the soul of a man and therefor I think only God will know how each of us will be judged.

Hello dear friends, This is so important for us to know whether we are sheep or goats. The bible says in John somewhere in chapter 14 or 15 that my sheep hear my voice and I know them. Jesus knows his sheep and they know him, to us who believed christ and have him in our hearts and also having the holyspirit of God I have afeeling that we are the sheep of God. But most important of all is down here in Mat 25:31-46 where Jesus narates astory to his disciples that you saw me naked and didn`t cloth me, I was hungry you didn`t feed me, in prison and sick you didn`t vist me.Honestly this is something that we as christians should take heed of, b`se in our daily lives it`s not easy to know how God is going to visist you forexample he might come to you in form of an ahungry man who needs food and by pride or even mistake you don`t feed him.He can come like akid without help and you just ignore not knowing that it`s Jesus you`re trying to ignore. This scripture has alot of meaning b`se we see these people on the left hand telling Jesus that when did we saw you naked and didn`t cloth or hungry and didn`t feed you.And the king goes ahead and tells them that what you didn`t do for the least of those, you didn`t do it for me.For this matter we as children of God, we should use our holyspirit very carefully b`se in the same way Jesus may appear to us in the form of the least people we tend to ignore in our lives.

It is a matter of faithfulness. One who does the will of the father in heaven will inherit the kingdom of God. We all know our individual hearts and it is very obvious that only those that does the will of God, believing in HIm, trusting in Him and expecting HIs second coming will be like those sheep. But those who rebel against God and who continously crucify Christ are the goats we are talking about. It is written in the scriptures that those who practice soccery, idolatory, murderers and the like will have no place in the kingdom of God. It takes the grace of God to abide. May God help us.

The Sheep and the Goats

"But when the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then he will sit on the throne of his glory. Before him all the nations will be gathered, and he will separate them one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then the King will tell those on his right hand, 'Come, blessed of my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; for I was hungry, and you gave me food to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave me drink; I was a stranger, and you took me in; naked, and you clothed me; I was sick, and you visited me; I was in prison, and you came to me.'
"Then the righteous will answer him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry, and feed you; or thirsty, and give you a drink? When did we see you as a stranger, and take you in; or naked, and clothe you? When did we see you sick, or in prison, and come to you?'
"The King will answer them, 'Most certainly I tell you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.' Then he will say also to those on the left hand, 'Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire which is prepared for the devil and his angels; for I was hungry, and you didn't give me food to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave me no drink; I was a stranger, and you didn't take me in; naked, and you didn't clothe me; sick, and in prison, and you didn't visit me.'
"Then they will also answer, saying, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and didn't help you?'
"Then he will answer them, saying, 'Most certainly I tell you, inasmuch as you didn't do it to one of the least of these, you didn't do it to me.' These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."
