Jesus himself is humility. This is one of the reason apart from the fact that the prophecy is fulfilled, 'Behold, your King comes, sitting on a donkey's colt.' By: Bol Joseph Agau - February 07, 2008 - Public Category: The Triumphal Entry |

 | Why did Jesus choose such a humble entrance (riding on a donkey) when He came into Jerusalem? |
Hello dear friends, When we look at Jesus' life since time memorial, humbleness was his character and so is the character of God.So entering Jerusalem on donkey was partly to fulfil the prophesy, but also to teach us our much we ought to be humble.Remember the bible says somewhere in peter am not really certain whether 1st or 2nd that God rebukes the proud but gives grace to the humble. To God be the groly Amen. Jesus came to Isreal riding a donkey reminds me of the many donkey songs that exist in th world. But,none approach the beaty, holiness and grace of watching the son of God come in so peacefully and and quietly into Jerusalem. So humble, yet so mighty a King there has never been or never will be again!!! Amen!!! By: Norman Diotte - August 15, 2007 - Public Category: The Triumphal Entry |
