How does the "eternal life" Jesus offers differ from the "ordinary life" people live?
Eternal life was the first gift God has given to our first parents Adam and Eve but sinned and lost the wonderful gift!
Eternal life is an everlasting joy, peace and love which our ordinary life can experience only temporarily!

How does the "eternal life" Jesus offers differ from the "ordinary life" people live?
I believe that the "eternal life" Jesus offers differ from the "ordinary life" people live in a mighty major way, in the sense that there are no more pains, sorrows or tears just happiness, love & sharing. This is the life God wanted for us before Adam & Eve first sinned. By: Mirtha Fabro - January 14, 2008 - Public Category: Life Through the Son (1) Comments

Everybody worships somebody or something:
power, prestige, food, pleasure, possessions, ones own opinion, etc. God says, "Thou shalt have no other gods before me." Exodus 20:3. And unless we worship Him only, He counts us against Him (Matthew 12:30). This news is shocking, but true. If anything or anyone other than God receives first place in my life, I am--innocently perhaps--worshiping and supporting Satan. Does God have first place in my life, or am I unconsciously elevating Satan? It is a sobering question, isnt it?

life with Jesus or the second death!Hummm, I like to take the first option please as death doesn't sound very good.
A. The Lord, in person, will live with them (Revelation 21:3). B. They will never become bored. There will be pleasures forevermore (Psalms 16:11). C.There will be no more death, pain, tears, sorrow, sickness, hospitals, operations, tragedy, disappointment, trouble, hunger, or thirst (Revelation 21:4; Isaiah 33:24; Revelation 22:3; Isaiah 65:23; Revelation 7:16). D. They will not get tired (Isaiah 40:31). E. Every saved person will be physically whole in every way. The deaf will hear, the blind will see, the dumb will sing, and the lame will be able to run (Isaiah 35:5, 6; Philippians 3:21). F. Jealousy, fear, hatred, falsehood, envy, impurity, cynicism, filth, worry, and all evil will be forever shut out of God's kingdom (Revelation 21:8, 27; 22:15). People will no longer be burdened with the worries and the cares that drive them to distraction. There will be no more nervous breakdowns. Time will become eternity, and the pressures and deadlines of earth will be gone forever.

How does the "eternal life" Jesus offers differ from the "ordinary life" people live?
Eternal life is a life complete. As Jesus said, He came to give us a life, but one which is complete because it's only with Him that one can live completely.
Ordinary life consisits of death. In this case a death forever, but when one has eternal life which is only got through Jesus Christ, death can only be physical. You simply get rid of the body and bounce into the next life.
Eternal life can never be taken away from someone unlike this ordinary life. Remember Jesus said that those who have put aside everything for His sake shall not only recieve 100% on earth, but even 100% in Heaven.

How does the "eternal life" Jesus offers differ from the "ordinary life" people live?
the eternal life is our soul and we will live forever with Jesus. The ordinary life is the life we are in now until Jesus takes us up to the Kingdom of Heaven. By: Myra Gonzalez - January 15, 2008 - Public Category: Life Through the Son
For this cause the Jews
persecuted Jesus, and sought to kill him, because he did these things on
the Sabbath. But Jesus
answered them, "My Father is still working, so I am
working, too." For this cause therefore the Jews
sought all the more to kill him, because he not only broke the Sabbath,
but also called God his own Father, making himself equal with God. Jesus therefore answered them,
"Most certainly, I tell you, the Son can do nothing
of himself, but what he sees the Father doing. For whatever things he
does, these the Son also does likewise. For the Father has affection for
the Son, and shows him all things that he himself does. He will show him
greater works than these, that you may marvel. For as the Father raises the dead
and gives them life, even so the Son also gives life to whom he desires.
For the Father judges no
one, but he has given all judgment to the Son, that all may honor the Son, even
as they honor the Father. He who doesn't honor the Son doesn't honor the
Father who sent him.
"Most certainly I tell you,
he who hears my word, and believes him who sent me, has eternal life, and
doesn't come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life. Most certainly, I tell you, the
hour comes, and now is, when the dead will hear the Son of God's voice;
and those who hear will live. For as the Father has life in
himself, even so he gave to the Son also to have life in himself. He also gave him authority to
execute judgment, because he is a son of man. Don't marvel at this, for the
hour comes, in which all that are in the tombs will hear his voice,
and will come out; those
who have done good, to the resurrection of life; and those who have done
evil, to the resurrection of judgment. I can of myself do nothing. As I
hear, I judge, and my judgment is righteous; because I don't seek my own
will, but the will of my Father who sent me.
