Why was Jesus so upset about a little business being transacted in the temple courts?
Jesus was upset because they made the temple a marketplace. The temple is a holy place where we can praise and pray for God. By: jaypee serrano - June 26, 2008 - Public Category: Jesus Clears the Temple

The temple is the place of worshipping and gloried His Father and yet the Jew used it for selling and exchanging money. They are more concerning what is in the world than in heaven. By: Kah Bik Cheong - March 21, 2008 - Public Category: Jesus Clears the Temple

Why was Jesus so upset about a little business being transacted in the temple courts?
Because it was a holy and just place when it started out. People like in today's society make what God made holy into a place to gamble and so forth. God wants everyone to be holy like him. By: Myra Gonzalez - January 09, 2008 - Public Category: Jesus Clears the Temple

Jesus was so upset about a little business being transacted in the temple courts because this is a holy, scared place and such should not be held there. The temple is where we come to pray, worship and give reverence to God. God is present in the temple and we should respect this place at all times.

Why was Jesus so upset about a little business being transacted in the temple courts?
Jesus was so upset with the business transactions in the temple courts because the temple was supposed to be a house of prayer which was to be revered .it was also supposed to be a place where God's presence inhabited, and hence needed to be respected.
Moreover, the transactions being carried out there were dishonest, yet God hates dishonest measures, and in carrying dishonest business in God's premises, they were dishonouring and blasheming against God.

Why was Jesus so upset about a little business being transacted in the temple courts?
Because the temple was made for prayer and worship not for selling things like sheep, oxen and doves. So Jesus made a whip of cords and threw all out of the temple. The Jews therefore answered him, "What sign do you show us, seeing that you do these things?" Jesus answered them, "Destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up." Praise God! Why was Jesus so upset about a little business being transacted in the temple courts?
Jesus was angry about the fact that this was a holy temple of His father and Lord God and is meant to be a place of prayer and worship and teaching of His Holy word not a market place where people can make money for their own greedy desires. Jesus was so upset about a little business being transacted in the temple courts because He felt so painful that people put money in higher position than God in their lives. By: Soy Yi Chan - January 06, 2008 - Public Category: Jesus Clears the Temple
After this, he went
down to Capernaum, he, and his mother, his brothers, and his disciples;
and they stayed there a few days. The Passover of the Jews was at
hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. He found in the temple those who
sold oxen, sheep, and doves, and the changers of money sitting. He made a whip of cords, and
threw all out of the temple, both the sheep and the oxen; and he poured
out the changers' money, and overthrew their tables. To those who sold the doves, he
said, "Take these things out of here! Don't make my
Father's house a marketplace!" His disciples remembered that it
was written, "Zeal for your house will eat me up."
The Jews therefore
answered him, "What sign do you show us, seeing that you do these
things?"
Jesus answered them,
"Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise
it up." The Jews therefore
said, "Forty-six years was this temple in building, and will you
raise it up in three days?" But he spoke of the temple of his
body. When therefore he
was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered that he said this, and
they believed the Scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.
Now when he was in
Jerusalem at the Passover, during the feast, many believed in his name,
observing his signs which he did. But Jesus didn't trust himself to
them, because he knew everyone, and because he didn't need for
anyone to testify concerning man; for he himself knew what was in man.
