In what ways did Jesus serve when He was on earth? In what ways is He still serving now?
for whether they be in the more affluent countries of the earth, we'll all still hold on for life, because as long as there is life, we find that there is hope. If this is true of most persons, how much more true would it be of Jehovah's Witnesses. Because not only do we have the present life to hold onto and to live for, but we hold onto the hope of everlasting life. Because Jesus promised this in Romans the Sixth chapter, that the reward God would give would be everlasting life. So we have a strong desire and instinct to wanna survive and pursue it. And to eventually realize paradisaic conditions in God's New Order.

In what ways did Jesus serve when He was on earth? In what ways is He still serving now?
When Jesus was still on earth, he was a servant leader. When they were hungry, he fed them. When they were sick, he healed them. When they were demon possessed, he rebuked and cast out demons. He raised to life their dead. He washed their feet. He taught them about the kingdom of heaven. He comforted them that were downcast. He forgave their sins, and set them free.In many ways, he revealed the will and glory of the father to us, so that in the end we would go to live with him eternally in the kingdom of heaven. Jesus is still serving in the same way as he served in the past, only this time, also by the power of the helper - the holy spirit. There is no other name under heaven by which we shall be saved. His blood still avails for us.He is more readily available unto us who shall call upon his mighty name. Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forevermore-Amen.

In what ways did Jesus serve when He was on earth? In what ways is He still serving now?
Jesus, since he was very young served:we are told that when the parents sought him and found him in the temple after 3 days, he was sitting in the midst of doctors''teachers'' both hearing them and asking them questions. When asked, he asks his parents:How is it that you sought me?Knew you not that I must be about My father`s business? ''Lk. 2:48-49''-He taught the word in the Temple, healed the sick, Set captives ''like the Samaritan woman and the woman `caught in the very act` '' free, raised the dead, and taught the people how to live in obedience to God.He also served his disciples by washing their feet before his death. During Jesus` life, he was always taking time to pray to his Heavenly Father, and before he left for heaven we find him praying for his disciples in John 17.Today, Jesus is is still serving through his intersession to the father, for the world. Moreover, through the Holy Spirit, the 3rd person of the trinity''Whom he sent'' he still teaches his people, heals the sick, convicts humanity of sin, and works to restore the people`s relationship with the Father.

A Mother's Request

Then the mother of the sons of Zebedee came to him with her sons, kneeling and asking a certain thing of him. He said to her, "What do you want?"
She said to him, "Command that these, my two sons, may sit, one on your right hand, and one on your left hand, in your Kingdom."
But Jesus answered, "You don't know what you are asking. Are you able to drink the cup that I am about to drink, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?"
They said to him, "We are able."
He said to them, "You will indeed drink my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with, but to sit on my right hand and on my left hand is not mine to give; but it is for whom it has been prepared by my Father."
When the ten heard it, they were indignant with the two brothers.
But Jesus summoned them, and said, "You know that the rulers of the nations lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them. It shall not be so among you, but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant. Whoever desires to be first among you shall be your bondservant, even as the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."
