Why did Jesus choose to make His entry to Jerusalem in a humble manner, riding a donkey?
Jesus himself and the name is a symbol of Humility and the humble God we adore. The God that comes to us in person to live with us as man and does all what we do. Jesus wanted to set an example which all christians in this world should follow by making ourselves simple and accessible to all the poor and the rich.

Why did Jesus choose to make His entry to Jerusalem in a humble manner, riding a donkey?
Through out His mission on earth, Jesus taught humility. He was now nearing the end of His journey and needed for people to remember one of His most important messages ''humility'', by demonstrating it ''leading by example''.That was a most powerful way of etching the message in the minds of all His followers.

Why did Jesus choose to make His entry to Jerusalem in a humble manner, riding a donkey?
I think pretty much the same reason That he was born in a stable. Humble. He was fulfilling prophecy and He came in the opposite way that most people thought the King of Kings would...but God had a plan.

Why did Jesus choose to make His entry to Jerusalem in a humble manner, riding a donkey?
Jesus showed us the example on how we should please God; No. 1. Is humility, Jesus live by what he said. And for the prophecies to be fulfill ?your king cometh to you humble' and since he is coming to the people who base on the tradition of men, who exalt one another not knowing that greater than Solomon is in their mist, so if He from above can be humble like that then who are they that they can not humble themselves, therefore, Jesus proved to us that, before we can please God, we must be meek, for whosoever humble himself shall be exalted and whosoever exalt himself shall be abase.

Why did Jesus choose to make His entry to Jerusalem in a humble manner, riding a donkey?
Jesus does not need unapproachable worldly offerings like a fancy chariot or army or trumpet fanfare for His entry. He offers Himself to the world. Jesus arrived in the world humbly, in a manger. Jesus teaches us humility with His entry to Jerusulem, humbly on a donkey, a beast of burden.

Why did Jesus choose to make His entry to Jerusalem in a humble manner, riding a donkey?
Jesus chosse to make His entry to Jerusalem in a humble manner, riding a donkey as a symbol of peace. Not to ride on a horse was sometime a symbol of war. But he comes to Jerusalem full of meek, kindness and compassion and to deliver up himself into their hands, and to make his death a ransom price for their soul.

The Triumphal Entry

When they drew near to Jerusalem, and came to Bethsphage, to the Mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples, saying to them, "Go into the village that is opposite you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her. Untie them, and bring them to me. If anyone says anything to you, you shall say, 'The Lord needs them,' and immediately he will send them."
All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through the prophet, saying,
"Tell the daughter of Zion,
behold, your King comes to you,
humble, and riding on a donkey,
on a colt, the foal of a donkey."
The disciples went, and did just as Jesus commanded them, and brought the donkey and the colt, and laid their clothes on them; and he sat on them. A very great multitude spread their clothes on the road. Others cut branches from the trees, and spread them on the road. The multitudes who went before him, and who followed kept shouting, "Hosanna to the son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!"
When he had come into Jerusalem, all the city was stirred up, saying, "Who is this?" The multitudes said, "This is the prophet, Jesus, from Nazareth of Galilee."
