dont worry be happy
With what this world is going through, almost everybody is waking up worrying. With high gas pricing, foreclosures, no jobs to find, makes us vulnerable to worry. But Jesus says that we should not be anxious of things of need, and to not store these as treasure but to have faith in the God of life that your needs will be fulfilled to go to the father and ask that your life be fulfilled according to the Gospel and you will find out that you will be sheltered, dressed, and fed, for you loves you more than the Father.

Since we have God`s promise of support, why do we still worry?
Doubt, a lack of communion with God, sinning without repentance, looking at the world with a lack of faith, fear, we stumble every day over this fact, we are fearing and wondering and doubting if Christ is there. If we give him a chance to reveal Himself, He is there. Probably because of our lack of realization our soul is closed and He is not able to reveal Himself to us, for if we really are infused with the Word, and humble before the Lord telling Him everything and placing it all at his feet, Jesus who is sitting at the right hand of God, as our Mediator between God and us can be touched with the feelings of our infirmities, He is our representative at the throne of the highest authority in the universe, He is there as our substitute and advocate, the great Intercessor, the High Priest, for us the body of the Church.

Since we have Gods promise of support, why do we still worry?

We worry because we lean on our own understanding, anxiety sets in because we are still not sure of the outcome.

If we seek the kingdom and all its righteousness first, ( the kingdom of God) we will learn not to worry, but to trust God.

Since we have God`s promise of support, why do we still worry?

We still worry because we feel certain things take time to pass.In life we desire many things and therefore when we need them we don't ask from our father or we ask but end up being impatient when we don't get what we wanted when we expected it.The other reason why we human beings worry is because his thoughts are not our thoughts and therefore we never know what he has in store for us.

I will like to encourage children of God to be patient for the Father knows we need all those things and the bible in the book of Romans 8:28 says all things work together for good. Therefore let us not be discouraged when things don't happen for he knows what he is doing.

Since we have God`s promise of support, why do we still worry?
Well in today's society people want things right now instead of being patient and waiting upon the Lord. Those who try to keep up with the Jones- examples  wanting a new home, new car or new clothes etc... When our heavenly father knows that we need these things. But seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. So like the song says "Don't Worry! Be Happy! Now!" :)Jesus is LORD! Amen!

Since we have God`s promise of support, why do we still worry?
We worry because we are not God although we have the promise. Sometimes God will take forever to answer prayers that seem urgent to us, and because we got nobody to turn to, we feel like we have been abandoned.

Since we have God`s promise of support, why do we still worry?
We have the promise but we are not God. Waiting for that promise to be fulfilled in one's life seems like forever. Besides, there are days when you call on Jesus, and He keeps silent like He has gone for holiday somewhere far from His throne, this automatically causes worry because most issues we take to God are for Him alone to work upon and so when He remains silent, one is like, my God, why have you abandoned me.

Since we have God`s promise of support, why do we still worry?
We still worry inspite of God's promises because we think about our loved ones who are not as strong and trusting as we are and we try to store earthly goods for them. We should realise that God loves them more than we do and can provide better for them than we can.

Do Not Worry

Therefore, I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they?
"Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith?
"Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient.
