Teachings of Jesus: Do Not Worry. God Knows and Will Meet Your Needs
Jesus says, look at the
birds, look at the grass: God takes care of them. Aren't you more important than a bird? God is going to
provide. Now, that doesn't mean that we don't have to work. Obviously we do. The birds have to gather all their
seeds, and make their nests, and do other bird chores, whatever those are, but they don't worry about it. When
was the last time you saw a worried bird, wringing its little wings in worry? You never see that. Because bird
brained though they are, they seem to know more than we do, that God is going to provide for our needs,
maybe not all our wants, but everything that we need. I have had dozens of you tell me stories about being in
tough financial times and wondering how you were going to make ends meet only to see, usually at the last
minute, an unexpected raise, or you find your expenses were less than you thought, or you discover you didn't
need as much as you thought you did. Jesus is saying we live in an economy of abundance. There's more than
enough to take care of everybody: God's going to provide. Sometimes he does that directly, and sometimes he
does that through other people. Many of you have heard the statistic that there is enough food in the world to
feed everybody, but the reason that some people don't have enough food to eat is that some people aren't
sharing what they've got, or there are wars, or bad governments, that make distribution hard. God gave us
everything we need to meet everybody's needs. Our job is to distribute it. Do you know that there is $15 billion
of loose change just floating around America? Talk about an economy of abundance: $15 billion sitting in
people's piggy banks or behind their washers and dryers along with all the missing socks. What would happen
if every Christian turned in all of their coins to go for job training for the urban poor? Jesus is saying we live in
an economy of abundance and God will provide, either directly, or through other people. By: Scott Dudley - January 12, 2007 - Public Category: Do Not Worry. God Knows and Will Meet Your Needs

Teachings of Jesus: Do Not Worry. God Knows and Will Meet Your Needs
I am 31 years old, filipino and is now suffering from kidney illness. In fact, i am already advised to have a transplant. Unfortunately, I forget about the word , transplant as my family doesn`t have the amount needed for it. What I am doing now is that I have begged God and asked him to fulfill His promises in the bilble the He would heal me. So almost everyday, I surf the internet to find sites where I can develop and increase my relationship level to our almighty till I found this website and little did i know that this has become part of my daily routine and i can feel the longing, the grace, the holy spirit filling the joy in my heart. While i am doing this, I feel the comfort and even forget that i am bearing a deadly illness. Now, I am very happy as I believe god`s healing over my life. Amidst the pain from my weekly injections along with blood extractions from different laboratory tests almost every week, I managed to keep and hold on to God`s promises because I have realized how He loves me, us that he allowed these trials to happen in life. I believe that it is through this illness of mine, i have discovered Him more and that He has his own purpose why this is happening. I am honestly and sincerely asking you people here to pray for me and all others around the world for complete healing in Jesus` name.. To god be the glory. I`ll be sharing you in the future All god`s works for me. God bless us all! By: Lorena Garcia - April 21, 2007 - Public Category: Do Not Worry. God Knows and Will Meet Your Needs (1) Comments

Teachings of Jesus: Do Not Worry. God Knows and Will Meet Your Needs
God knows what I need every day. I believe in His words. I am learning not to worry about what I eat, as it is always given from Him. I do not worry the body too much, because God has shown me my soul. Live every day like it`s the last day on earth. Enjoy every moment and second you live in. Amen By: Norman Diotte - May 01, 2007 - Public Category: Do Not Worry. God Knows and Will Meet Your Needs

"Therefore do not worry, saying, ; What will we eat?' or 'What will we wear? For it is the Gentiles who strive for all these things; and indeed your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But strive first for the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
( Matthew 6:31-33)
"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat, or about your body, what you will wear. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing. Consider the ravens: the neither sow nor reap, they have neither storehouse nor barn, and yet God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds!"
( Luke 12:22-24)
"So do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring worries of its own. Today's trouble is enough for today."
( Matthew 6:34)
"And can any of you by worrying add a single hour to the span of life?"
( Luke 12:25)
"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid."
( John 14:27)
