37 Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” THE COMMAND TO LOVE ENCOMPASSES EVERY OTHER COMMANDMENT. THE OTHER COMMANDMENTS ARE ASPECTS OF LOVE BUT NOT LOVE'S TOTALITY. THEREFORE JESUS REFERS TO IT AS THE "GREAT COMMANDMENT"

I believe it is because those are the two most important beings we should love. First Our God and second our fellow human being. It is really that simple.

Jesus came to preach the gospel- the good news. It is because God loved the world so much that He sent Jesus to demnstrat His love to the world. Not only demonstrating it but making people who can do likewise. To perfect them, He had to plant love of God for the others and make sure that the world is saturated with love. When love is sincerely it covers all sins.

The answer can be found in Matthew 22:37-40 when Jesus replies to a Pharisee's question of what is the greatest commandment. Jesus replied, " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments" Jesus doesn't want you to focus on the law as much as he wants you to focus on Love. - Dory

I feel that love Conquers all and if we all love thy neighbors there is hope.

The fundamental concept is that God is one and not many gods. By definition, there can be only one all-powerful, infinite, linitless God. Loving neighbors: Do not revenge, have any grudges, we are to love our neighbors

I think love is key, when you have love for your brother i don`t think you will like to kill or hatre him.
