"Which of these purposes do you believe Jesus accomplished?"

I do believe that  Jesus accomplished all of these purposes.He demonstrated love through many gestures such as washing his desciples' feet, dying for the sins he did not commit but to set us free.

Many had lost hope i can say am one of them but through the death and resurrection of christ plus the miracles he performed in his days and the promise that whatever we ask for in his name will come to pass, gives good news. Through his teaching using parables also helpped him accomplish the purpose of making us understand how the kingdom of God works.

 When philip asked jesus that show us the father,Jesus answered him he is in father and the father is in him ,therefore i think when Jesus  when jesus is in us ,it means God is with us and he is viewing us.Therefore whatever we do,must be of righteous as we are together with the father.

How does Jesus link intimacy to him with obedience to him?" a "New" commandment?
To be intimate with Jesus we must abide by his word. Follow a life that would make Jesus proud by practicing his teachings in your daily life. It is not something that is easy, we all falter but He forgives or mistakes if we ask forgiveness. Being obedient brings us closer to Him

Jesus accomplshed ALL of these purposes, and He is continuing to accomplish even more through His Spirit in and through His beloved people. His love covers our sin, He heals, restores, sets free by His Word through reading, speaking it out/memorization, communication through it to us; through His promises that help us through difficulty and depression; through His Blood that continually cleanses and covers/protects us, and the fact that every good and perfect gift comes from His riches and glorious abundance: WE have His promise for EVERYTHING we could ever need no matter what our present circumstances are AND assurance of eternity with unconditional LOVE God Himself!

which of these purposes do you think Jesus accomplished?

Jesus accomplished all the purposes he set out to do according to me.

He brought the good news which we are all benefiting from today and hence gave us the key to eternal life. The gospel he preached released us from bondage hence freeing us from captivity.the foundation he laid is still being built upon even today and people everyday get to understand the kingdom of God and accept Jesus as their personal saviour through the word that is being preached in all forms. He demonstrted his abounding love when he died for us while we were still sinners. For me i can confidently say that this is a mission accomplished.

Purpose of Jesus
The entire Bible is the story of love - love that God has for us. It is unconditional and eternal. Love encompassses all things. Jesus proved that there is no other greater love, than when someone lays down his life for his friends.

I think Jesus served all the purposes he has in this world.  To bring good news, to be a source of abundant life, to help people understand the Kingdom of God, to sacrifice Himself for other and most specially He demonstrated His love for us by sending His only begotten Son to redeem us from our sins and for us to have eternal life.  He fully accomplished His mission in this planet.
