why did Jesus penalty for sins include physical and emotional pain
It was just how God want it to be. Jesus had to go through every thing  to show us that he paid a price for us. His love for us is unconditional and selfless. But I cannot wonder why they is all kind of evil and killing  and shooting  and bad people in this world. For me his final hours of Execution to this world is still what people  and me and others go through regularly in life Example I got insulted this morning and yesterday morning but I took that and hand it over to Jesus.I believe it is the worst kind of execution Jesus has gone through so this is my imput into Jesus execution

Why did Jesus´ penalty for "sin" need to include physical and emotional pain - why not just spiritual separation from God?
Jesus came into this world in a physical state and he had to end the mission that He accomplished physically. He by doing this took our pain, our sins. this was our purnishment!!. When He died on the cross, he took all that we could have taken, thanks to Jesus for loving us.  There is no other love like His.I THANK GOD FOR HIS SON JESUS, I KNOW THE TRUTH!

Jesus the son of God. Our Savior

Jesus, saved the faith of humankind many years ago.Born through the Holy Spirit by the Virgin Mary and Joseph. His life had a mission: to save man from his sins, he died in a cross suffering physical and mentally to achieve his goal of preventing man to suffer from their own sins. Today we believe that our souls will join God-Jesus in paradise if we truly believe in Jesus and repent from our sins

"Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer and rise again from the dead the third day; ( Luke 24:46-47). Question: It is said that Jesus came from his death 3 days after his burial. If he died on a Friday and his resurrection was on a Sunday, it was only 2 days. This part we dont understand??

"Was Jesus trying to incite his death (eg. temple cleansing, accusation of leaders?)

No, he was not trying to incite his death, on the contrary, life is a gift from god and Jesus had a mission to preserve mankind life, so he had to sacifice himself to achieve this goal. It was God will to sacrifice his son in behalf of man's sins. Jesus suffered physical and emotional pain to avoid that mankind paid for their own sins.

Why did Jesus´ penalty for "sin" need to include physical and emotional pain - why not just spiritual separation from God?
Although, spiritual separation was the heaviest sacrifice which Jesus paid in behalf of mankind, as a representative of mankind in earth he had to suffer in his own flesh and mind physical and emotional pain as any mortal human being, to liberate us from sin and evil and so man would not suffer.

If Jesus' penalty didn't include spiritual separation from God, we would continue to be spiritual separated from God and the saving action wouldn't pe complete. Thank you so much Jesus! so so much! thank you! you're love!

Jesus wasnt trying to incite hisdeath,Jesus was on a mission to teach the  world the plan that GOD had for his life so we would learn by example  longsuffering, love and humility.
