Why did Jesus´ penalty for "sin" need to include physical and emotional pain - why not just spiritual separation from God?
Because every mankind born with sin and separate with God by his sin ,so in order to be close to God the sin must to pay.Jesus paid all ,

Jesus's penalty for "sin" included physical and emotional pain because He took on ALL the sins of mankind including unbelievable physical suffering and emotional distress as well as the evil causing spiritual separation from God.  The thought of His suffering and sacrifice for us cuts into my heart.  Oh what

a precious gift the Father gave us! Eternity with Christ is our blessed reward. PRAISE AND GRATITUDE!!

Man would have not understood the spiritual suffering had they not seen the physical suffering. Once the veil was torn, man no longer needed to sacrifice animals for forgivenss. God sacrificed HIS one and only Son so that we may be forgiven. We only need to ask for forgiveness and accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior. What a sacrifice and what a gift!!

Jesus penalty of sin need physical and emotion pain when He dead on the cross in other for God to forgive us our sins from what i benefited from the scripes and the spiritual separation from God is that before He dead, Jesus commited His spirit to God. by praying that, it is finished because he knew that what God has ask him to do on this earth was accomplished, so that the sins of mankind will forgiven.

If jesus had not suffered physical pain, then we would have not benefitted " through your stripes we are healed etc" The spiritual separation to me was inevitable. We are already separeted from God and for us to be reunited to God through Jesus, Jesus spirit also needed to be separeted from God

Why did Jesus´ penalty for "sin" need to include physical and emotional pain - why not just spiritual separation from God?
When man sinned, sin entered into the whole world and man was seperated from God and man was to die ( both spiritual and phisical death ) as the penalty of sin. so 1. jesus was to demonistrade phisicaly for the common man to understand what was happening. 2. He was to suffer phisicaly and emotionaly to fight and destroy the phisical suffering and death of mankind. 3. He was to fulfil the scriptures. 4. jesus came as a common man to show us the way. 5. only God would understand the spiritual. 6.It was necessary that jesus dies openly (a) to declare victory of the church (b) to get man have an access to the holy of holies (c) He went to hell picked the keys and gave them to the church. etc. so it was important for jesus suffer and die phisically, emotionally and spiritualy and that is why today jesus has become our HERO, EXAMPLE our ROLE - MODEL and our EVERYTHING. Amen.

Why did Jesus´ penalty for "sin" need to include physical and emotional pain - why not just spiritual separation from God?
because jesus took all the sins of mankind over his physical body and the pain of others on himself so that the mankind may not bear any sort of spiritual separation from God our heavenly and lovable father.
