In your own words, write down what the phrase, good news of God means?

The good news of God. Our Father who is in heaven, no matter what we do, will always be here for us. From the filthiest of sins until the most holy of acts. The Lord of all the universe is willing to be ridiculed, spit on and carry our sins on his back. The only price we pay is our tears. Please forgive us. Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you.

If John`s baptism was for repentance, then why do you think Jesus was baptized?

It was not for repentance, because Jesus is sinless. It was not because he needed the holy spirit, because Jesus is God the Son and the Holy Spirit. The baptism of Jesus was an example to show us that if we want to be protected by his Holy Spirit we must forget ourselves, be baptized ''washed clean of our sins'' so that God can use us for the good of mankind.

If you were Mark, writing a short report to demonstrate to a Roman audience that Jesus (a Jewish man) was the Son of God, what would you include in that report?

People of Rome, come forward, listen to the word of our Saviour Jesus Christ, the son of God. Forget your worries, forgive your enemies, love your neighbors. Give to those who have nothing and give thanks if you have nothing. Jesus has come to give us eternal life. Your sins have been washed away with the blood of our saviour on the cross. Believe and be saved.
