Jesus Restores Self-Worth
You know, when I was at Stanford, I had the privilege of being around some of the smartest people in the world, Nobel laureates, internationally known scholars, and those people taught me a lot. But I also saw a lot of wrecked lives. Loneliness, frantic attempts to feel significant, hoping that the next publication, the next endowed chair, would make their lives feel worthwhile. At the same time I knew so many people in my own life who had been completely transformed through the simple message of Jesus. Like an atheist friend of mine who abused alcohol and slept with every guy she could find because she had such a low self-esteem she was just looking for affection wherever she could get it. Until one day I accidentally led her to Christ. Some of you have heard me tell this story before. Just to review, I was making fun of Christianity, and she kind of got interested in it, and started asking questions, especially the part about God loving us, and at the end she just ended up praying to become a Christian right in front of me, while I was making fun of it. So I went home and said to God, If I'm going to go around making Christians I'd better be one too. So I prayed to become a Christian. You've heard me tell that, The first time two atheists ever led each other to the Lord. But I never told you what happened to this woman after that. I never told you the rest of the story. Well she went on and found a great church, where she was surrounded by a community of people who really loved her. Out of that she was able to connect to God's love, which helped her to feel better about herself. It gave her the strength she needed to stop abusing alcohol, stop sleeping around. She started hanging out with Christian men who treated her as a daughter of God, and gave her dignity and self-worth. Jesus changed her life.

Woman in Adultrey
When Jesus calls for the one without sin to cast the first stone he accomplishes several things: it relieves him from the charge of having instigated a stoning; it ensures there will not be a stoning, since none of the accusers will want to take responsibility for it; and it causes them to reflect on their own sinfulness before God. It has often been suggested that the eldest accusers were the first to leave (v. 9) because they recognized their own sinfulness more readily. However, leaving in this order may simply reflect the custom of deferring to the elders. In any case, their withdrawal was in fact a confession of sin. Those who came to condemn ended up condemning themselves by not casting a stone.

If there is one of you who had not sinned ,let him be the first to throw a stone at her.
Neither do I condemn you, said Jesus ,go away, and don`t sin any more.Remember that Human Beings are all Sexually Immoral. But from now observe the Commandment of God being reborn.

The scribes and the Pharisees brought a woman who had been caught in adultery, and placing her in the midst they said to him, "Teacher, this woman has been caught in the act of adultery. Now in the law Moses commanded us to stone such. What do you say about her?" This they said to test him, that they might have some charge to bring against him. Jesus bent down and wrote with his finger on the ground. And as they continued to ask him, he stood up and said to them, "Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her." And once more he bent down and wrote with his finger on the ground. But when they heard it, they went away, one by one, beginning with the eldest, and Jesus was left alone with the woman standing before him. Jesus looked up and said to her, "Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?" She said, "No one, Lord." And Jesus said, "Neither do I condemn you; go, and do not sin again." ( John 8:3-11)
