If we are aware of the power of words, why do we speak so much destruction? A house divided won`t stand so why do we divide ourselves instead of coming together in strength?

What did the Pharisees say against the Holy Spirit and why was it such a serious offense?
The Pharisees said the Holy Spirit was in league with Satan. This was so offensive because they were denying the power of Christ and trying to ruin His reputation even though they knew better.

The Pharisees said,Jesus casts out devils only through Beelzebul, the prince of devils.
But Jesus said,if it is through the Spirit of God that I cast devils out, then know that the kingdom of God has overtaken you.

Jesus and Beelzebub
I was always told that Jesus and Satan were friends at on time. But I just can`t believe that. Jesus was good and did good things. The devil is bad and does bad things.

What did the Pharisees say against the Holy Spirit and why was it such a serious offense?
The Pharisees` authority was threatened by Jesus` authority as King of kings. Speaking against The Holy Spirit is to come against the very breath of God which is life.

When the Pharisees heard that Jesus healed the demon possessed, the blind and mute they said that he cast the bemon by the name of Beelebul the prince demon, they didn`t belevied that he is the son of God. If anyone talk against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven.

What did the Pharisees say against the Holy Spirit and why was it such a serious offense?
Because they said that Jesus was using the devil to do his work and not God, he is the son of God and uses the Holy Spirit of God to do his helpful work and saying such things was disrespectful to God and that is unforgivable especially since they said it b/c they were evil and jealous and because they were trying to keep people from finding God and following Jesus by saying such things.

What did the Pharisees say against the Holy Spirit and why was it such a serious offense?
They didn`t believe that the Son of God could cast out demons. People today don`t believe that God can help them all they have to do is ask in Jesus name. We as people are not suppose to put God nor the Holy Spirit down and anyone that does God has a judgement on them.

Jesus and Beelzebub

Then one possessed by a demon, blind and mute, was brought to him and he healed him, so that the blind and mute man both spoke and saw. All the multitudes were amazed, and said, "Can this be the son of David?" But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, "This man does not cast out demons, except by Beelzebul, the prince of the demons."
Knowing their thoughts, Jesus said to them, "Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand. If Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then will his kingdom stand? If I by Beelzebul cast out demons, by whom do your children cast them out? Therefore they will be your judges. But if I by the Spirit of God cast out demons, then the Kingdom of God has come upon you. Or how can one enter into the house of the strong man, and plunder his goods, unless he first bind the strong man? Then he will plunder his house.
"He who is not with me is against me, and he who doesn't gather with me, scatters. Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men. Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, neither in this age, nor in that which is to come.
"Either make the tree good, and its fruit good, or make the tree corrupt, and its fruit corrupt; for the tree is known by its fruit. You offspring of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. The good man out of his good treasure brings out good things, and the evil man out of his evil treasure brings out evil things. I tell you that every idle word that men speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned."
