How does one love God with all his heart soul and mind? What does that look like?
For me it means that I totally surrender my self to God and I put Him and His Will first. My every action should be governed by God. I like how another poster on this site said he had to crucify his Self. It`s true.

Loving the Lord with all your heart, with all your mind and with all your soul is the greatest commandment because it focuses on the person as a whole. You can`t render pure love without your mind and soul. Each component complements each other. It is by giving up everything that you have, sacrifice everything for the sake of the Lord. It is taking and carrying out our own cross and follow Jesus alone. It is only through following these commandments that you will have a heart to follow all other laws set by the Good Lord.

Loving God with all our heart, soul and mind is our overall. Human being is composed of this only. Putting Jesus #1 in our life. Love Him with our heart and putting into action. Following HIM, obeying HIM, obeying HIS words. this is what the first commandment is.

One love God with all his heart, soul amd mind by doing everything in God`s name. If you are a medical doctor you don`t only depend on the drugs but the request of God`s providence of health, if you are a lawyer you don`t judge but say one thing that God will help you sort out the other`s feeling of what you say to sentence them guilty or not. This kind of asking God`s wisdom always will make one look like Christ Himself who would always ask His Father for asking sake to perform a miracle. God Bless All of us in JC.

God wants us to love and owner him in all we do. he wants to be with us in all that is why we should love him with with all we are. in every thourght you have, in every feeling, in every pain in all spritual and phisical thing we come across God wants be there for us. thats because of his love for us. that is why in the first four commandments its all about God.

If you love Jesus you will obey His Word...There`s no greater love tan the one our Savior had for us. As His followers we are here to love and support one another, gloryfing God with all what we do and what we say. And if we really love someone it means we really love God.

It would be like Christ, who gave of Himself such sacrifice so that we may be forgiven and live, who loves us unconditionally, who provides and gives us all that we need, heart soul and mind, that we do not need any worldly things.

When one becomes like Jesus fully used the mind of Christ which we are given by adoption and declaring our derise to be the sons of God sanctified by the spirit of god, we can then love like Jesus did. This kind of love is devoid of self. Self no longer exists.

But the Pharisees, when they heard that he had silenced the Sadducees, gathered themselves together. One of them, a lawyer, asked him a question, testing him. "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the law?"
Jesus said to him, "'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.' This is the first and great commandment. A second likewise is this, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' The whole law and the prophets depend on these two commandments."
