Why is the Resurrection of Jesus a source of hope for people, even today?
When Jesus died on the cross it was so painful for His followers but His resurrection also resurrected their hopeless heart. Untill today it gives us hope that GOD will always be there.

Why didn`t the elders want the true story of Jesus` resurrection to get out?
Because the elders did not want others to believe their was a Resurrection. So they paid the guards to tell a lie about Jesus rising from the tomb. Which of course were all lies from the elders and the guards. The truth is He has risen! Praise God!

Why didn`t the elders want the true story of Jesus` resurrection to get out?
According to the Bible, whoever cover his/her sins shall never do well. It is very shameful to the elders to owned up that Jesus actually ressurect. What a SHAME. They don`t believe Jesus could died and rise the third day, how then would they pronounced to the hearing of Jews that Jesus had actually ressurect? So, to cover their shame, they have to uphold their believe that it is not possible for Jesus to die and ressurect.

Why is the Resurrection of Jesus a source of hope for people, even today?
it is because He is our Lord and since He conquered and defeated the power of death this means that He gave us power over death as well, that we are not afraid of death. and this is why Paul wrote that `to live is loss but to die is gain.` thank you!

That means he`s not dead but risen by God, that means he`s the son of God. Everything He preached are the message from God. His resurrection is a proof that He is our Christ

The Resurrection

Now after the Sabbath, as it began to dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb. Behold, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from the sky, and came and rolled away the stone from the door, and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothing white as snow. For fear of him, the guards shook, and became like dead men. The angel answered the women, "Don't be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus, who has been crucified. He is not here, for he has risen, just like he said. Come, see the place where the Lord was lying. Go quickly and tell his disciples, 'He has risen from the dead, and behold, he goes before you into Galilee; there you will see him.' Behold, I have told you."
They departed quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring his disciples word. As they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, "Rejoice!"
They came and took hold of his feet, and worshiped him.
Then Jesus said to them, "Don't be afraid. Go tell my brothers that they should go into Galilee, and there they will see me."
