What caused Nathanael to see Jesus as the Son of God and King of Israel?
Jesus saw him under a fig tree before Philip called him. Nathanael was in a far distance but Jesus saw him at that far which made him believed in his being son of God and the King of Israel.

What caused Nathanael to see Jesus as the Son of God and King of Israel?
The testimony of Andrew about the one of whom the Law of Moses, and the prophets talked of; and the very confirmation by Jesus himself that he saw Nathanael under the fig tree were convincing enough reasons to believe him, who is born to be Son of God, and King of Israel. All jews at this time were conscious that a messiah was born and is alive, and were actually looking for him. That was why Jesus moved to Galilee.

What caused Nathanael to see Jesus as the Son of God and King of Israel?
Nathanael saw Jesus as the Son of God because of the unseen things Jesus revealed to him. He told him he was under a fig tree before Philip called him, thus showing Philip that he knows all things. He also revealed what Philip will see in the future which only God can reveal to us.

What caused Nathanael to see Jesus as the Son of God and King of Israel?
It is because the way Jesus spoke was different from any other prophet they had seen. It is impossible how one can know you before he sees youm unless the Spirit of God is upon him. Jesus had the Spirit of God, and Nathaneal could see it.

What caused Nathanael to see Jesus as the Son of God and King of Israel?
Hello dear friends,I think after Jesus saying that behold an Israelite indeed in whom is no deceit to Nathanael as he was coming. This proved to Nathanael that he was Jesus the son of God and King of Israel.

Jesus Calls Philip and Nathanael

On the next day, he was determined to go out into Galilee, and he found Philip. Jesus said to him, "Follow me." Now Philip was from Bethsaida, of the city of Andrew and Peter. Philip found Nathanael, and said to him, "We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, wrote: Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph."
Nathanael said to him, "Can any good thing come out of Nazareth?"
Philip said to him, "Come and see."
Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and said about him, "Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom is no deceit!"
Nathanael said to him, "How do you know me?"
Jesus answered him, "Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you."
Nathanael answered him, "Rabbi, you are the Son of God! You are King of Israel!"
Jesus answered him, "Because I told you, 'I saw you underneath the fig tree,' do you believe? You will see greater things than these!" He said to him, "Most certainly, I tell you, hereafter you will see heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man."
