How is it that desiring to do God`s will results in a person knowing that Jesus` teaching comes from God?
Jesus does not seek his own glory that would be like in ordinary life an eartly one but he accomplishes the will of The Father. He follows his word. If we accept him we accept the Lord`s word and from knowledge stems purpusefulness. Even Jesus is tempted to say take away this cup from me if it is Your will but as it isn`t I shall drink it to the last drop. His are the words of the Father. Knowing them leads to understanding God`s plan for us the plan that our loving Father has for us. If we to love Him like we love His Son whose words we accept, we will respond lovingly with a yes. Be not mine but your will be done. All we do is for the glory of the Lord who created us the way we are and who set us trials so that if we overcome them with the force and in the name of his Love we can then rejoice in His eternal presence ''and all those we truly love''.

How is it that "desiring to do God`s will" results in a person knowing that Jesus` teaching comes from God?

If a person desires something within His heart and within his thinking mind, he is conditioning himself to receive it. The conditioning affects his spirit as well. God will bless what is of Himself. Therefore, the conditioned spirit will be purer and more truthful to the person who has willed the desire within himself.

When Jesus comes with the truth, in voice or in Scripture, the person's mind will recognize it as coming from Jesus. The "Truth of God" will know It's own. The heart will be "signaled" by this purer spirit that Jesus speaks for The Higher Source of truth. Of course, the source is not only higher, it is the Ultimate Source. Jesus speaks for The First Being.

We talk to God through Jesus alone. We all desire to do God's will, but only Jesus will lead us to know what God's will is.

Because Jesus is God for He says if you see me you see the Father. So Jesus' teaching comes from God.

How is it that "desiring to do God`s will" results in a person knowing that Jesus` teaching comes from God?
Because when Jesus therefore answered them, "My teaching is not mine, but his who sent me. If anyone desires to do his will, he will know about the teaching, whether it is from God or if I am speaking from myself. Knowing and doing the will of God is to accept his son Jesus into your heart and recieving the Holy Spirit. Because Jesus died and rose to new life, the Holy Spirit now lives in all God's people. He is the ONE who makes them new, teaches them and gives them freedom for a new life. Jesus is Lord!

How is it that "desiring to do God`s will" results in a person knowing that Jesus` teaching comes from God?

When a Christian is born of God, and becomes a real Christian, he is made over as Christ’s man. If the world wants to see Jesus, it must look upon the Christian, who is Christ among us, just as we who want to look upon the Father and understand Him, look upon the man Jesus, Who was the embodiment of the Father. Everything that Jesus did was the Will and the Word of the Father. So everything the Christian does, should be the Will and the Word of Jesus Christ, for the Christian commits himself as entirely to the will of Jesus, and becomes Christ’s man as Jesus was committed Himself to the Will of the Father, and became a God’s man.

The true secret of Christianity is not in doing, it is in being. A real Christian is in being a possessor of the nature of Jesus Christ. In other words, it is being Jesus Christ in character, in demonstration, in agency of transmission. When one gives himself to the Lord and becomes a child of God, a Christian, he is Christ’s man. All that he does and all that he says from that time on, should be the will and the word and the doing of Jesus Christ, just as absolutely, just as entirely, as He spoke and did the will of the Father.

Jesus gave us the secret of how to live this kind of life. Jesus showed us that the only way to live was to commit oneself, as He did, to the Will of God and not to walk in his own ways at all, but walk in God’s ways. So the one who is going to be Christ’s man in the best sense and let the world see Jesus in him, must walk in all the ways of Jesus, and follow him. He must be Christ’s man, a Christian, or Christ among us.

Therefore, the things which possess the heart and which are unlike God fasten themselves because the inner being is not subject to the will of God. One of the reasons for the low standard of Christian living is the failure to recognize the Trinity of our own being. Man is triune… spirit, and soul and body… just as God is triune, being Father and Son and Holy Ghost.

Salvation begins at the time when the spirit is surrendered to God, when the name is written in the Lamb Book of Life, and we receive the conscious knowledge of sins being forgiven. Then God witnesses to the Spirit that our spirit that our sins are blotted out. The Word, in Roman 8:16 says “The Spirit beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God.” That is, the testimony of the Spirit of God to our spirit is that we are the children of God when we surrender our spirit to God.

Why do people wonder, after having given their hearts to God and after having received a witness of the spirit, they are troubled with evil desires and tempted in evil way?

How is it that "desiring to do God`s will" results in a person knowing that Jesus` teaching comes from God?
"Desiring to do God's will" results in a person knowing that Jesus' teaching come from God by being obedient to the word of God. The other thing is that one understand the teaching of Jesus which come by much glory from above. Not only that but also faith in the lord and the impowerment of the power of God (the Holy Spirit) who reminds , teach, guide and instruct one to have the desire to do God's will . Amen.

Jesus Teaches at the Feast

But when it was now the midst of the feast, Jesus went up into the temple and taught. The Jews therefore marveled, saying, "How does this man know letters, having never been educated?"
Jesus therefore answered them, "My teaching is not mine, but his who sent me. If anyone desires to do his will, he will know about the teaching, whether it is from God, or if I am speaking from myself. He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory, but he who seeks the glory of him who sent him is true, and no unrighteousness is in him. Didn't Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keeps the law? Why do you seek to kill me?"
The multitude answered, "You have a demon! Who seeks to kill you?"
Jesus answered them, "I did one work, and you all marvel because of it. Moses has given you circumcision (not that it is of Moses, but of the fathers), and on the Sabbath you circumcise a boy. If a boy receives circumcision on the Sabbath, that the law of Moses may not be broken, are you angry with me, because I made a man every bit whole on the Sabbath? Don't judge according to appearance, but judge righteous judgment."
