Why did Judas betray Jesus with a kiss?
He did not want others to call him betrayer, so he pretended a kiss to Jesus to give his sinful sign to those who wanted to arrest Jesus.

Why did Judas betray Jesus with a kiss?
Have you come out as against a robber with swords and clubs to seize me? I sat daily in the temple teaching, and you didn`t arrest me. But all this has happened, that the Scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. This is a very nice reason to why Judas kissed Jesus for betrayal. The scriptures had to get fulfilled.

Why did Judas betray Jesus with a kiss?
That kiss was a stab on the back. A friend will come to you as a friend, with purported love, when the love and kiss are actually sinister-evil in motive. Beware of kisses, especially from those who know you and are close to you. They could be fake, and you find that one day you are also betraying your Jesus. As Christians, many times we betray Jesus by committing sins, knowingly, thinking we shall get the pardon from Jesus. This is a Judaic kiss.

Why did Judas betray Jesus with a kiss?
Judas had a purpose, the biggest one. To deliver Jesus for the scriptures to be fulfilled. I can only imagine what he felt on his soul for doing that purpose, although God gave judas his free will as he did for the human kind. If he had not betray Him Jesus wouldn`t died the way he did. So Judas may have felt that thing that we feel when ever we can tell the difference between God`s will and our own. So a kiss just may be as a comforter of his soul.

Why did Judas betray Jesus with a kiss?
Well I think since Judas was told by Jesus that one of them will betray him, the prophesey had to be fullfilled, he was kinda embarrassed about it or shame maybe, so Judas came at Jesus with a kiss to point him out to the high priest with out him doing so in Jesus face, but Jesus knew anyway. Judas was Jesus friend so how could he give him up like that.

Why did Judas betray Jesus with a kiss?
A kiss was a natural form of greeting for Jews and therefor would not have been anything out of the ordinary for Judas to do. Judas needed to do something that would npot raise alarm before the plot was completed.

Jesus Arrested

While he was still speaking, behold, Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him a great multitude with swords and clubs, from the chief priest and elders of the people. Now he who betrayed him gave them a sign, saying, "Whoever I kiss, he is the one. Seize him." Immediately he came to Jesus, and said, "Hail, Rabbi!" and kissed him.
Jesus said to him, "Friend, why are you here?" Then they came and laid hands on Jesus, and took him. Behold, one of those who were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and struck the servant of the high priest, and struck off his ear. Then Jesus said to him, "Put your sword back into its place, for all those who take the sword will die by the sword. Or do you think that I couldn't ask my Father, and he would even now send me more than twelve legions of angels? How then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that it must be so?"
In that hour Jesus said to the multitudes, "Have you come out as against a robber with swords and clubs to seize me? I sat daily in the temple teaching, and you didn't arrest me. But all this has happened, that the Scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled."
Then all the disciples left him, and fled.
