I do believe Jesus allowed Judas to betray Him because He knew already that He came to die for all our sins. By: Mirtha Fabro - February 12, 2008 - Public Category: Jesus Predicts His Betrayal

Why did Jesus allow Judas to betray Him, when He clearly knew Judas` evil intention?
Just as the scriptures say; But that the Scripture may be fulfilled, He who eats bread with me has lifted up his heel against me. From now on, I tell you before it happens, that when it happens you may believe that I AM. Most certainly I tell you, he who recieves whomever I send, recieves me and he who recieves me, receives him who sent me. Jesus is called the Lamb of God. He was sacrificed like a lamb to take away the sins of God's people. Jesus is Lord! By: Al Benavides - February 12, 2008 - Public Category: Jesus Predicts His Betrayal

"that the Scripture may be fulfilled".
Jesus knew his destiny, he knew that he had to be betrayed. I don't think he wanted to be crucified, as indicated by what he said "What you do, do quickly." - more importantly though Jesus wanted to do the will of his Father because of his love for Him.

Why did Jesus allow Judas to betray Him, when He clearly knew Judas` evil intention?
He knew what he was doing, coz after he gave Judas the bread, then satan entered into him. This is so amazing and perplexing to me really why Jesus removed his divine protection, thereby allowing penetration into a whole disciple. Was Jesus and Satan in a league? Why did Jesus allow Judas to betray Him, when He clearly knew Judas` evil intention?
Jesus allowed Judas to betray Him because it has been ordained to be so. Jesus knew that He has to suffer death on the cross and He knows the part that Judas has been destined to play in the fulfillment of His mission to earth. As He has said, the Father is the one who sent Him and He knows the reason why He was sent. He prefers the Father's will to be done than for His own will to be done.

Why did Jesus allow Judas to betray Him, when He clearly knew Judas` evil intention?
Hello dear friends, Jesus came on the mission and it was time to get this done.So there was no reason for him to stop Judas from going forth to betray him.Because he knew behind the back of his knowledge that what the devil meant for bad, God turns it be good for our own benefit as the bible stipulates. To God be the groly Amen. Why did Jesus allow Judas to betray Him, when He clearly knew Judas` evil intention?
Because it was the will of God. By: thomas akanvese - June 22, 2007 - Public Category: Jesus Predicts His Betrayal
"I don't speak concerning all of
you. I know whom I have chosen. But that the Scripture may be fulfilled,
'He who eats bread with me has lifted up his heel against me.' From now on, I tell you before
it happens, that when it happens, you may believe that I AM. Most certainly I tell you, he
who receives whomever I send, receives me; and he who receives me,
receives him who sent me." When Jesus had said
this, he was troubled in spirit, and testified, "Most
certainly I tell you that one of you will betray me." The disciples looked
at one another, perplexed about whom he spoke. One of his disciples, whom Jesus
loved, was at the table, leaning against Jesus' breast. SimonPeter therefore beckoned
to him, and said to him, "Tell us who it is of whom he speaks."
He, leaning back, as
he was, on Jesus' breast, asked him, "Lord, who is it?"
Jesus therefore
answered, "It is he to whom I will give this piece of
bread when I have dipped it." So when he had dipped the piece
of bread, he gave it to Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot. After the piece of bread, then
Satan entered into him.
Then Jesus said to him, "What you do, do
quickly." Now no man at the
table knew why he said this to him. For some thought, because Judas
had the money box, that Jesus said to him, "Buy what things we need
for the feast," or that he should give something to the poor. Therefore, having received that
morsel, he went out immediately. It was night.
