What have you heard now (from or about Jesus) , that you may not understand until later? Being the Son of God, it would be easier for his disciples to undersatnd why he shall rise. Rise from the dead but they would hit the rock of not understanding why he should die being the Son of the Allmighty God. In their human relaibnce in his special Humnaity, they do not understand why he should suffer from this world the torture the mockery. Surely building up the Kingdom of God passes through victories...Tehy reason in terms of wordly might. I understand had i witnessed all the miracles.It would be extremely hard to understand let alone accept on blind faith. And yet Mary was ready AND believed to have her heart pierced as predicted by blind (?) Simeon whose heart was illumined by the traesuing of the OT already come true and the yet not ones prophecies. What have you heard now (from or about Jesus) , that you may not understand until later? Well these words from Jesus are what I don't really understand. "Ask and you'll be given, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened"  because I have asked and asked in the past and not everything I ask for is given to me. He says knock but I want to know on which door and if I seek, why do I not find out what I want to know? These 3statements are puzzling. What have you heard now (from or about Jesus) , that you may not understand until later? Counting the cost of taking up that cross was something I did not really get until recently.  We need to understand that as we take up our cross we, too, will suffer, not maybe tro the degree of death, but there will always a be a cost. What have you heard now (from or about Jesus) , that you may not understand until later? I have heard and understood the call of Jesus which includes His sufferings and death on the cross. Jesus called me and my Bible tells me that He was mocked, treated shamefully, spited upon and was killed for my sake and for the sake of all mankind. Glory to God that on the third day He rose from the dead. By overcoming death, Jesus completed all what was prophecised in the Old Testament. When we study the book of Isiah the prophet, we learn and understand that the son of man (JESUS) would be born who will be the might God, everasting father, prince of peace and establish the peacefull kingdom at the same time bring justice . I do understand Jesus all in all because He took all the sins of mankind and the life He gives is in its fullness "John 10 Vs 10". Jesus has also fulfiled the promise of the Holy Spirit "Luke 24" / Acts 2". Jesus is the might God. Amen!
