How does being forgiven increase ones love for God?
Because God loves us so much that he forgives us of many sins. Our sins no longer alienates from the love of God. We then develop a closer loving relationshop with him. Because we feel his love, we can in turn love him.

Jesus tells you :everything you ask and pray for, believe that you have it already, and it will be yours.
And when you stand in prayer, forgive whatever you have against anybody,so that your Father in heaven may forgive your failings too.(Mark 11:24-25)
