How do you see it differently?
Hello,
I am Ken. I think that a great thing I have to learn in this course is your perspectives. I already know my own. Pretty well, I know why I answer as I do, but I will not know your reasons. With this short introduction, I am placing myself into the middle of our circle and saying,"Help me with this." or "How did you get that view?" I am not your future employer nor your next door neighbor. My viewpoint does not influence your success. I want your opinions to influence me and how I think. The world is opening up, let us bring it to together in friendship and togetherness.
Yes, I care because you are a fellow being on this planet. Jesus did not mean for people to live apart with their doors shut forever. He intended for us to share His good news in harmony of attitude, for His glory.
Sincerely,
Kenneth

He though he had found the Messiah from the comments that John had said about Jesus being the Lamb of God and so he went to Jesus and asked to be a disciple and brough his brother with him telling Simon that he has found the messiah. I don't know how anyone can answer this question from the text. I have read some other answers but they are not based onthe text itself. By: Lauren Adams - January 03, 2008 - Public Category: Jesus` First Disciples
Again, the next day,
John was standing with two of his disciples, and he looked at Jesus as he
walked, and said, "Behold, the Lamb of God!" The two disciples heard him
speak, and they followed Jesus. Jesus turned, and saw them
following, and said to them, "What are you looking
for?" They said to him, "Rabbi" (which is to say, being
interpreted, Teacher), "where are you staying?"
He said to them, "Come, and see." They came and saw where he was staying, and they stayed with him that
day. It was about the tenth hour. One of the two who heard John,
and followed him, was Andrew, SimonPeter's brother. He first found his own brother,
Simon, and said to him, "We have found the Messiah!" (which is,
being interpreted, Christ). He brought him to Jesus. Jesus
looked at him, and said, "You are Simon the son of
Jonah. You shall be called Cephas" (which is by
interpretation, Peter).
